This page provides guidelines for all groups in the ICC.
GENERAL ICC GUIDELINES: Once a group is fully approved by the ICC, it must maintain the following expectations throughout each school year in order to remain active. In the event that one or more of the below guidelines are violated, the group will be moved to probationary status, where they receive a warning with a two month deadline to become compliant. If the group fails be meet this deadline, they will be purged and will no longer be able to function at Ardrey Kell nor within ICC. Please see the below the general ICC Guidelines that must be followed by all ICC Clubs. **Please note that some Groups and Honor Societies are not directly monitored by AKHS (state & national groups) and are therefore not required to follow the below guidelines. However, in order to remain in an active status, these groups and Honor Societies must follow their state & national guidelines.
General ICC Guidelines: 1. Group has at least 25 members attend each of their meetings 2. Group sends an ICC representative to every ICC meeting. If the designated ICC representative is unable to attend, group will send another club member or officer for that meeting. 3. Group meets, at minimum, monthly. Monthly meetings dates/times must be identified & specifed at the beginning of each school year. 4. Group has and upholds a constitution. 5. Group participates in Homecoming, Mr. AK, and SpringFest. 6. Group completes TWO outreach community service projects each school year, in addition to participation in the ICC Adopt-a-Spot program. The two projects should receive participation from, at least, 50% of the group's members. 7. Group has an up-to-date website or information page on the advisor's website. Sports teams are not required to have a website or information page. 8. At each meeting, group records minutes and member attendance; which will be uploaded to their club's Google Folder. 9. Group follows all school policies and procedures at all times. 10. All officer elections for the next school year must occur in the spring of the previous school year. For example, the 2019-20 officers of Key Club should be elected in the spring of 2019 or the end of the 2018-19 school year. 11. ICC representative cannot be the ICC representative for another club.
